Gebrüder Hess
The Gebrüder Hess band has been playing Swiss country music for more than 55 years. The success story began on the Grünhalde farm above the Gesslerburg in Küssnacht, when the eleven children became interested in local music at an early age.
Car mechanic Hans Stift saved up his apprentice's wages and was able to buy a hand organ from his boss for a hundred francs. A little later, Walter also had his own hand organ, and Kari turned up with a bass violin, which laid the foundations for the Hess brothers' family band. Brother Alois was the man on the piano, but then moved away from Küssnacht and was replaced by Franz.
Ländlerkapelle Gupfbuebä
Evenings in the Badhof with the Gupfbuebä are always cosy evenings filled with joy. The Gupfbuebä have remained true to their musical style: the four-piece band's music is lively, sophisticated and danceable.
Composer and musician Dani Häusler has been writing the music for his long-standing Gupfbuebä musicians for more than 30 years. In addition to him as a wind player, accordionist Jörg Wiget, pianist Ueli Stump and, since spring 2021, Severin Barmettler on double bass pay homage to good old Central Swiss country music.

Akkordeonduo Wachter-Rutz
mit Jacqueline Wachter am Piano und Martina Rohrer am Bass
The repertoire is broad: from concertante accordion music to traditional folk music.
The Wachters' heart beats unmistakably for music. Heidi and Ruedi Wachter founded the music house in 1980. Their specialities are accordions and Schwyzerörgeli and they stock a wide range of different accordions and Schwyzerörgeli. guitars, keyboards, electric pianos etc. They also run a music school for all ages, where you can enjoy pedagogically and professionally competent lessons. Promoting young people has always been a major concern for them.
Carlo Brunner has written well over 1000 melodies in the traditional Ländler style. Another milestone is the interpretation of popular hits and traditional Ländler music with the Schwyzerörgeli and accordion player Arno Jehli under the label Arno & Carlo.
The Ländlerkapelle consists of Carlo Brunner (clarinet and saxophone), Martin Nauer (accordion), Rolf Müller (piano) and Philipp Mettler (bass violin).
Ländlerkapelle Waschächt
The four genuine folk musicians Frowin Neff, Michi Jud, Daniel Fässler and Carlo Gwerder promise versatile country music at the highest level. The repertoire includes rustic and down-to-earth sounds by composers such as Franz Feierabend, Franz Schmidig senior and Köbi Buser as well as carefully selected melodies from popular music, skilfully accompanied by polyphonic vocals. The programme is enriched by many virtuoso organ pieces by composers such as Res Schmid, Dolfi Rogenmoser and Res Gwerder.

From Rees Gwerder to Hujässler.
The variety and versatility within folk music is great. The family band enjoys playing everything from traditional to concert music, from Rees Gwerder to Hujässler.
Their wide range of instruments and, of course, the occasional "Juuz" also bring a lot of variety.

Willis Wyberkapelle
With Andrea Ulrich, Gaby-Isabelle Näf and Martina Rohrer, Willi Valotti from Toggenburg has teamed up with three extremely talented musicians. This exceptional quartet offers high-quality music in a variety of styles.
The strength of the formation is its versatility. Original compositions, traditional and contemporary Swiss folk music as well as international sounds are interpreted with inspiring and captivating enthusiasm.
Handorgeltrio Bärti Gisler, Walter Rickenbacher, Angela Gisler mit Cecile Schmidig am Bass.
Bärti Gisler was a wrestler (Swiss wrestling) and 54-time winner of the Uri crown and two-time Swiss champion. He is a composer and gifted hand organ player. Walter Rickenbacher from Illgau is a hand organ player and yodeller. He cultivates the round Illgau musical style in various formations such as Trio Bürgler-Rickenbacher or Kapelle Illgauergruess. Angela Gisler is an accomplished hand organ player and plays in various formations.
Cecile Schmidig was born into a traditional family. Her grandmother Cäcilia Schmidig is the composer of many well-known popular songs and her grandfather Franz Schmidig, known as Lunnis Franz, composed around a hundred folk dances and was a passionate accordion player.
Kapelle Jost Ribary-René Wicky
The Jost Ribary-René Wicky folk band has existed since 1983, first with the son and now with the grandson of the old master Jost Ribary, composer of the "Steiner Chilbi". René Wicky is probably one of the most important Ländler accordionists and composers on the Swiss folk music scene. His compositions such as "rassig, urchig, bodeständig", "Schönegg-Marsch", "Blick uf See und Berge" or "s' Härz am rächte Fläck" are just a few of his more than 1000 "Tänzlis". With the highest honour in the field of country music, the "Golden Treble Clef", René Wicky definitely has the status of a country music king.
